At the helm of iVector Consulting and iVector Academy is Mary Roberts, a globally respected cybersecurity executive, educator, and strategic advisor. With almost two decades of experience, Mary brings an unmatched blend of deep technical expertise, Security and Privacy Assurance leadership, and real-world business acumen in digital risk and resilience.
Mary has built and matured security and privacy programs at scale—most recently as Global Head of Cyber Risk, Resilience, and Advisory at Qualtrics, where she led enterprise-wide cyber initiatives across a complex SaaS and cloud-native environment. Her career spans leadership roles in financial services, cloud, and professional services sectors, including heading Security & Privacy Assurance at XM Discover, leading SOC operations at Union Bank, and driving merger integrations with a security-first lens.
A certified CISSP, CEH, CHFI, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and AWS Solutions Architect, Mary is also a Board-Designated Qualified Technical Expert (QTE), serving on both executive teams and corporate boards. Her rare ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear business outcomes has earned her a reputation as a transformational leader and go-to advisor on global regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and enterprise strategy.
Beyond the boardroom, Mary is passionate about workforce development and serves as an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at Prince George’s Community College. She believes that “to teach is to learn twice,” a philosophy that drives her commitment to mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.
When she’s not shaping cybersecurity policy or guiding C-suite decisions, Mary enjoys literature, teaching, and spending quality time with her family.
